What should be put on the poker table? Poker is a game of images and illusions. Despite its history and the fact that more and more people from rural and suburban areas are beginning to get involved in Texas Hold'em, poker will always be a class game. When you go to the casino, do you think about what and how to wear your clothes affects how others perceive you and your game?

In most gambling houses you do not need to observe strict dreskod as in European casinos. But that does not mean that you should go in torn jeans, T-shirt and sunglasses. If it gives you confidence, then yes. But you should know that some of the "sharks" that are floating around, will look at you as a casual player who has come to win or lose a small amount of money, or just a good time. This is nothing wrong if you really know how to play, as you look, a sort of dark horse in the background of a more "polished" and serious players.

Watch for young players wearing shirts with slogans on a poker theme. Although it can impress their friends, who have no idea about what kind of game for the experienced player is a signal that a novice in front of you. Again, if you're not a beginner, some silly label on your shirt you can play the hand.

Watch for small emblems and logos of well-known poker brands on clothing. This can be either a brand that likes that player, or, more importantly, it can be sponsored by this brand, such as PokerStars. In any case, this means that he spent a lot of money and time to learn the game, and most likely is a very experienced player. So if you decided to play with such a player, make sure that will be able to play his cards.

Prickly, people who are trying to impress everyone with his clothes, or a very serious and talented players, or simply trying to present themselves in that light. Usually does not take too many games with such players to "separate the wheat from the straw." Even if their game is not perfect, it should be noted that players in stylish glasses, wearing a suit and tie, always produce self-respect.

Women! Attractive representatives of the opposite sex more than once switched attention to men's players on their cards over. Use this technique wisely!

As for the glasses, people wear them to inadvertently give out their thoughts, just as some wear a hat in order not to betray himself by his expression. Points help to hide in his little world. You can hold a conversation at the table, but the monitor cards, gestures and faces of other players, and they will not have a clue about where you look and about what you think poker rooms. Points do not blink during the flop, turn or river. The ability to have a complete overview of all anonymous, which is very helpful. But we need to make sure that your glasses are not too dark to see the true color of the card or chip. Professional Phil Ivey once threw glasses cost a thousand dollars after they prevented it from seeing the river, causing him to lose 100,000 dollars.

Use these tips and think carefully about what is best to sit at the poker table.

Despite being out of college for over a year now, this time of year still brings on the anxiety associated with spring fever. The weather is getting nice, yards and trees are turning green, a garden is in the near future (which means fresh salsa for the next several months), and there's just an ongoing buzz that reminds people of the summer months to come.

However, no longer a (somewhat) diligent student who gets a solid three month break each year, it's time to keep working, even when the others have a break. While at first I found this slightly depressing, when stopping to think it over, I realized there are way more pros than cons. For example: I can take work breaks whenever I want. I don't need a school or government holiday, I just assign my work for another day, and precede to do what I please. Next up, sleeping in. Being able to get up whenever I want to each day heavily outweighs having to live on someone else's schedule. I don't have to be at school on time and stay until the end. I work when and where I want.

To add to this list, I don't have to eat cafeteria food, my dog gets to come to work with me, I can wear PJs if I please, I don't have to be a morning person, and I am the only one who shares my workspace. No messy coworkers to ruin my organizational efforts. If something is out of place, it's because I put it there. (Unless I have a ghost of course.)

My dog does snore quite loudly, which can become annoying while I'm on the phone. But a simple poke in the back is all it takes to get her back to a quiet sleeping volume. And because she's an old dog lady, she rarely wants attention. She's happy to sit and watch me type, knowing we'll take a daily walk once the work day is over. Besides, small amounts of activity are all her aching joints can handle. Sleeping is much easier than playing at such an old age. (Of course, the older she gets, the worse she smells, and more often. But when paired up against a building full of probably smelly kids, I will take it.)

As you can see, from my minimal research time on the manner, I have decided the benefits to working far outweigh the feeling of missing out on summer. (Oh did I mention I'm getting paid instead of paying others?)

So let the birds chirp on, the temperatures heat up, and the soon to be out of school children scream to their hearts' desire as they frolic near the pool or in the parks. I'll just crack a window instead. Then, every once an a while, I'll take off and enjoy the elements myself. Just because I can, and just because a school schedule didn't tell me I could.

April showers bring May flowers, but what happens when many of the flowers have already bloomed? Thanks to an awkward winter, the trees have already bloomed, the lilac bushes already shown their flowers for the year, and we still have the rain to come our way. It seems backwards to first enjoy the thing that is beautiful, and then to watch it be destroyed by the necessary rainfall. (As opposed to first sitting through the wet and then cold and then earning the enjoyment.) Either way, it's still raining plenty this April.

Another thing about April, it's when the taxes are due. Whether you've paid your money to the government along the way and are getting money back, or are just paying your yearly dues, April 15th is crunch time for businessmen and women and accountants everywhere. Now, I know my taxes are fully in order (no thanks to me), but the idea of doing math for a living seems absolutely awful. Maybe if it were like grade school, where you get to plus and minus with jelly beans or fruit snacks -- a lesson and a snack! But when it comes to the hard stuff, serious math and serious numbers, nothing could sound less appealing. Besides, I could never make it due to my horrible math skills. People would come into my office, wondering what they owed or what was owed to them, and I'd only be able to sit and shrug my shoulders. "Let's try Turbo Tax," I'd offer (which is an online tax program that does all of the heavy lifting for you. It's either that or all of the numbers would be wrong.

However, luckily for us, God is a smart one. He, from the beginning, knew that some would be good with numbers and that some would be bad at them. To save us the hassle of trying to fit a jack of all trades into every single person, he gave us jobs and tasks. Then he gave us the ability to swap these services for monetary value or trade. That way everyone gets what they want and/or need without spending sleepless nights punching numbers that will never make sense. That's just science.

So when the accountants are busy giving correct numbers and being good with calculators, I can work on other aspects of life. I could work on their blog or correct their incorrect punctuation use. While not near as universal, one may (wrongly) think, these skills can be translate writing and editing skills into almost anything. So while the nerds are counting away, I am performing a different type of nerd service: writing and grammar. Correcting commas (Oxford is king), taking out the majority of quotation marks, and erasing apostrophes that have no business of existing. It's true the government may not ask for this service, but I feel that it's just as important as any other life skill.
